Chupi Ring Sizer

This tool helps you find the size of a ring. It’s based on the height of a credit card, so it’s important to measure that accurately. We recommend putting your phone on a flat surface and looking straight down at it.

This tool is for reference use. Fit may vary depending on the wearer, environment worn and activities carried out at the time of wearing your ring. It is recommended that you should:

  1. Choose a ring that fits you most comfortably
  2. Use a ring that fits on all occasions, when you’re on holiday, in work or the gym

Put the short side of a credit card here and adjust the line so you can just see the outline looking straight down at your phone. Illustration of how to place the card on screen

Place a ring on the circle and line up the inside of the band so that you can see the black outline inside.

Four Cs

The important details in Choosing your ring

Determining the quality of a gemstone involves what jewellers refer to as the “Four C’s”; Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat.

The cut refers to the design of the stone, such as round or oval. Each cut sparkles in its own way and this is an important factor as it determines the shape of the stone you want to go for.

This refers to the colour of the stone. With grey diamonds, emeralds, rubies & sapphires you want a colourful stone, but with classic or lab-grown diamonds you want a completely colourless stone.

Clarity refers to the number of amazing inclusions in a gemstone. With grey diamonds we look for the most beautiful inclusions, like a scattering of stars sparkling in the night sky, but with white or classic diamonds we look for no inclusions. Other stones like moonstone or tourmaline have the most beautiful, exciting inclusions.

Carat is a measurement of weight, not love. It is simply what the precious stone weighs in metric carats which are a unit of measurement like kilos or pounds.
