It’s no surprise that we adore weddings here at Chupi HQ. We love hearing about your special day, from venues, to dresses and favourite moments on the day. We asked the Chupi Team to share with us the gorgeous details of their big day. In this installment we speak to Zoe, Head of Brand Marketing at Chupi who tells us all about her gorgeous wedding day in The Glenlo Abbey Hotel , Galway.
“The theme was blush pink, gold, polka dots and lots of white. Funnily enough I hadn’t started working for Chupi yet but our wedding was very ‘on brand!’ I designed my blush pink and gold invites on Paperless post. It’s a great site, not many people realise you can also order your physical invites from it. For my flowers, I opted for an all white colour palette of hydrangeas and peony roses with pops of greenery.”
“I found my dress at Karen Willis Holmes in Paddington, Sydney. She’s one of my favourite Australian designers. I opted for a simple cap sleeve style with a low back and a long train. My shoes were white lace and baby blue heels from Aquazzura purchased from Net-a-porter. They also doubled up as my something blue!”
“I wore my engagement ring, pearl earrings gifted to me from my bestie for my Birthday and a simple pearl bracelet borrowed from my Maid of Honor.”
“I have so many amazing memories from my wedding day! That morning getting ready with my family and best friends, the car ride to the church with my Dad and my husband’s speech. We’ve been together for 16 years so it was very special day.”
“My advice for brides to be is to chill out! I moved from Australia and got married within two weeks which was incredibly stressful. You can go overboard completely overthinking the day – the most important part is that you both have an incredible day and have lots of fun. Also, don’t spend too long getting photos or you’ll miss catching up with people.”
